Today Chelsea and Flatiron have become unique neighborhoods rich in history, with an eccentric neighborhood feel, ranging from the Chelsea Markets, The High Line, and its close proximity to Meat Packing, to all of the diverse restaurants that pair great food and drinks with a chic ambiance.
My love for loft apartments gravitates me toward the historic architecture that Chelsea once thrived on—with single-family homes and rows of townhouses were a staple during the industrialization in NYC and factories opened along the Hudson.
Avi’s Neighborhood Picks:
18th East 16th Street | Union Square
When given the opportunity I love to start my day with a cup of coffee, freshly baked
mini chocolate croissants, and the best chocolate babka in New York City.
365 West 16th Street
Very exclusive with amazing Asian fusion flavors that tease the pallet, much like the
interior ambiance. I highly recommend trying the “steak au poivre.”
41 East 20th Street
Love Monday night dinner and drinks at Mari Vanna. You need to have a special key
to open the door. I highly recommended for its exclusivity and fun for a special
evening or dinner.
Broadway and 19th Street
Toga on Saturday at 11AM with Sarra Morton – Amazing hour and a half of sweat
and relaxation. Best way to finish off the week!
17th & Park Ave South
It’s a central, convenient location with a sexy seating area that’s great for a mid-day coffee
meeting or after-work drinks with clients. Great for people watching and networking too.
