Keith R. Higgons
Keith R. Higgons is a writer and playwright currently living in Brooklyn, NY. He received his BA in Liberal Arts and an MA in Media Studies from The New School University in New York City.
A career journeyman, he has waited tables, tended bar and rode the dot com and Web 2.0 waves; having worked for both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies he’s been everything from a customer service representative to product manager.
In addition to his white collar work, Keith is an avid writer and playwright. His passion for animals has led to articles for both pet magazines and pet web sites. In addition to writing integration pieces for a local newspaper, he has covered both the Brooklyn Film Festival and Greenpoint Film Festival.
As a playwright, his plays have had successful production runs for different theater groups around NYC. His monologue “Sam’s Song” was published by JAC Publishing in 2013. He is currently working on treatments for a television series and a web series.
When not working, writing or traveling Keith can be found at home in Brooklyn trying to explain the musical significance of the band Supertramp to his pets.
